Sunday afternoon, when all seemed peaceful, we noticed the fall light streaking across the French cabinet in the dining room.
Our cozy little dining room has been called magical by more than one guest. It is where we enjoy dinners or tea time with friends and an occasional pub night with neighbors. There has been much laughter in this loved room over the years. The teapots do bicker during the night and argue about who is the prettiest and who will be picked to serve tea.
A neighbor arranged two giant acorns and oak leaves on the table by our front door a few days ago. They drop into her yard from another neighbor. I took them to my castle shed for a photo on the table while they are still green. They are amazing.
Have you ever seen this type of acorn?
